Cavalia Hosts Media Sneak Preview

Media and special guests from area outreach programs both equestrian and non-equestrian were invited to Cavalia's Sneak Peek Media Preview. In anticipation of the performance, guests were lined up for more than an hour waiting to to see a sneak-peak.

TEM extended the invitation to the two therapeutic riding programs in the Phoenix area: Horses Help and Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship Center. Over 500 attended from those groups!

The guests were treated to a brief introduction by founder, Normand Latourelle and a summary afterwards along with introductions of the key directors of the performance. Additionally,  the audience had the opportunity to meet members of the cast and chat with them.

The performance at the Media Sneak Preview was enchanting. Morgant Taylor, president of TEM attended the event, "By change was seated next to a young boy, about age 10. We were both on the edge of our seats throughout the performance. He and I were awestruck by the visual feast for the eyes, which was led with clapping for each amazing feat both in riding and ethereal dance segments. I enjoyed the performance so much, but it was doubly fun to see his wonder and appreciation of the event."

Each performance was accompanied by music and vocals, making an astonishing preview of Cavalia's Odysseo show, opening tonight!

Cavalia Triumphantly Returns to Scottsdale in December with its Latest Creation

 The internationally acclaimed Cavalia pushes the limits of live entertainment with its newest production that is now touring the globe. Cavalia Odysseo will make its premiere in Scottsdale, AZ on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Created by one of the founders of Cirque du Soleil, Cavalia Odysseo is a theatrical experience, an to ode to horse and man that marries the equestrian arts, awe inspiring acrobatics and high-tech theatrical effects.

On Monday, December 10th, the Phoenix skyline  transformed as the 10-story White Big Top and eight additional tents that comprise the Cavalia Odysseo village were erected. Under the pristine and luxurious tent, a dream-like world will transport audiences around the world as 53 horses and an international cast of 50 artists play and demonstrate their intimate bond. The 15,000 square-foot stage features a real carousel and a magically appearing 80,000 gallon lake in front of a stunning video backdrop the size of three IMAX screens. Cavalia Odysseo is a two-hour dream that will move the heart and touch the soul.

Audiences do not need to know anything about horses or riding to enjoy Cavalia Odysseo. From the start of the show, the horses capture the heart. The show builds through a variety of equestrian numbers including jumping, dressage, carousel, trick, stunt, Roman and Cossack riding.
